Negatory on that one Neikun, they come out with squares of white or black hanging around them.... will continue to meddle...

Hey, Akroma, I think I found the answer.
If you zoom in really close to the edges of the transparent part, you'll notice there are some off-black pieces to it. Or maybe that's just mine..
Anyway, I coloured them black. I'm not seeing much issue with them.

Hey Neikun,

yup, zoomed in and changed off black to black (around the transparent grid part) - loaded up but still got the white edges...
Tried colouring around the actual rendered pieces on the transparent part - results were better, less white edges but I had black edges which were quite noticeable...
Interestingly, I also used the original big herder texture, loading it onto a herder model, and in-game there are no white edges when I do this - suggesting it is not so much 'how' we are exporting the file (BC3, DXT5 with mipmaps - as the tutorial says)... but...
I suspect that when we change the colours, we are bringing up something (pixels of colour) that were not noticeable before. When that happens, it alters how these parts are presented in-game...

So, doing what you said, just changing the coloured bits around the transparent sheet edges to black - and you have no white edges?! (possibly I am not following instructions right.. lol)

I thought it looked fine. But then again, I didn't really notice anything about it with my first texture, either until you pointed it out.
I should think that the only thing causing it would be either the glossiness, or the specular lighting.

I have not yet messed around with lighting and glossiness, might be a good time to start! ;)
If I come up with a solution I will be sure to let you know :D

Inspired by Merethif's Jungle Ogre.... Red Horn Ogre is now added.
(blood, scars, angry eyes and of course, red horns!)

I have a request please. For you or Neikun or other good texture modder.

Can you do a ice based ugguardian? Like light blue, crystalline look?
