I think uploading small packs on the nexus is a good idea too so that players have less to wade through if they want only some of the new assets.
I think the Community Asset pack is good as well so that people who want everything can have it, and it's very easily indexed. (For now. I imagine once Grimrock has 10 000 asset mods like Skyrim, it'll be a bit harder to manage lol.
I just mean that adding new stuff to one forum thread is somewhat difficult but that's probably because I'm not neat enough with my scripts. It's easy to make mistakes when coping parts of script to forum posts. Unless I will make new spoiler tags for every new items, which probably is how I should proceed from the start.
Anyway I find it more convenient to make a lua files in notepad and upload them to Nexus (or other site) for downloading. Many small packs or one big pack, both sounds good for me.

Thanks SpiderFighter. Happy to hear you find it useful.
BTW, this is something I've been playing around today:
A savage ogre. It's still under construction and I'm far from being satisfied with those war paints (I like a loincloth though). Maybe instead of this limestone skull I'll go for a red Dhalsim-like face paint (?)
Any suggestions are welcomed.

I like the leather on the loincloth but the leopard print looks more a night on the town than savage imho. The war paint is good on the body (I would like more, on the back maybe) but covers too much of the face. Your idea of less face paint like Dhalsim is better I think. It's hard to judge any of it really without seeing him in action.
A great idea, he does look meaner.

Loving all the new items and textures... and looking forward to the finished ogre.
But I was just wondering if you got any further with a custom throwing hammer for use with the returning script. I wrote the script using an axe as an example, because I wanted others to be able to use the script without necessarily needing to use custom assets... but would be cool to have a proper returning throwing hammer!
I would be happy to modify (and package) the script for inclusion in a "Returning Hammer" asset pack.

I know, I know. I have started working on that hammer several times but every time I'm not satisfied with it and scrap it all and start anew. I was trying with ogre hammer at first then swap to Icefall Hammer. Yesterday I even start working on throwing axe out of Norja. This ogre is a by-product of my frustration after failing with throwing hammer again and again. Such a pressure
EDIT:

When adding jaguar pelt to the loincloth I was thinking about those jaguar warriors of Aztecs
Something like this:
