Can you hear the difference?
No. Interesting, also I can still go through the walls, but I have double checked I have the correct latest version.

Strange. Workshop has always said that the update process has been successful, and I've always double checked the nexus files. Because of that strange behaviour I've updated both sites contrary to what I was planning to do.
changes from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3
- bugfix: there was a way to open the first door incorrectly
- some script finetuning

Zeltak, thanks again, appreciated. Unfortunately, I've tried hard (with all buttons etc.) with no results, all buttons sound the same always. Maybe I should restart the dungeon, or reinstall LoG. I guess I can also share my savegame so that we can see if my results are reproducible.
Anyway, as I had the major spoiler, I tried the following:
this is/was my best guess for the solution of the puzzle,
D : Daemon, poison room with Daemon head
P : Priests of goromorg, staff room with goromorg statue
H: Heroes, helmet room with hero statue
U: Uggardian, flame sword room with dragon statue
D - P - H right button - D - U
(Also tried: D - P - H left button - D - U)
This order made great sense until it didn't work. Sigh.

Woo hooo! I did it without the sounds - only got one ding after the last button.
And I found the last
About the spoiler in my previous post
I can only say that it was very close with a little twist.

Great stuff xhantos, I'm right behind you but still struggling like hell
My button-order was different, and while pushing the last one I got a different 'click'. But the door to the north is still shut.... I wonder.....

Ok solved it now, WITH some spoilers and some help of a friend. The one(s) who solved the level 7 problems without any must be sheer geniuses. Don't know what to think of the whole thing though, too tough I think, could use a clue or two to make it 'fair'!
And up and away we go, back to level 2....

Thanks. Found Orsan and finished with 14/17 secrets...
Puzzles on Monastry Level 2 (Dungeon Level 1) was pretty easy, especially after considering the level 7 puzzle(!), still enjoyable, and in the end I was surprised to find Orsan at a time I desperately needed a life crystal...
Very well done, I'm happy with the ending. Thanks again Zeltak.
Update: Now at 15/17 secrets.
Update: Now at 16/17 secrets. Just one more to go.

Could someone post (in spoilers) a solution to the puzzle on level 7?
Not only that, but the logic of the solution?
Thanks.

I am also stuck at the level 7 puzzle.
What I understood so far:
1. buttons in the rooms have to be pushed in order
2. the order is indicated in the scrolls, look at the chapter and volume of the quote in the scroll. Scrolls refer to the rooms, but a first scroll doesn't seem to indicate anything.
3. the order I intended is: priest room; hero room (with right button); demon-gas room; fire demon room.
All of this yet doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
I pushed them in right order; in opposite order; left button or right button. Nothing works.
I don't know if some objects must be put on altars and alcove.
Also: on level 5 I found more scrolls.
Are they related? When they say right is sometimes wrong, is it related to the buttons in Hero's room? "Opposite directions" means the rooms must be taken in opposite order?
I am really on the verge of frustration.
The dungeon is greatly written, but it's getting very hard!
