Nethack, Dungeon Master+CSB, Eob II, Ultima 4+5, Ultima Underworld, FF7.
4: Top 5 non RPGs?
Elite, Slicks'n'Slide, all Marios, all Lucasarts and Sierra made adventures, Action Supercross/Elasto Mania.
5: What was the game that made you a gamer?
There was one of first hypermarkets called Eka-Market in Kannelmäki area and there were arcade games \o/ ,
First game I remember playing was this game where you controlled ship left to right and tried to bomb submarines , can't remember its name anymore (and can't remember if it even was electro mechanical game ?) . I also played Ataris Battlezone a lot. Couple of years later Xevious was really cool. And of course Finnish coin/skillshot game called Pajatso.

1: 20
2: New York, New York
3: Top 5 RPGs?
Planescape: Torment there really isn't anything I can say that someone else hasn't.
Witcher 2 CDProjekt really outdid themselves it's one of the best rpgs I've played in a long time and such a great story
Fallout 2. I chose Fallout 2 over Wasteland I love both though!
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 (WITH the restored content mod) Obsidian has a track record of being stuck with publishers who push them around. Lucas Arts is no different but damn Obsidian wrote some great characters and turned the Jedi from thing holier than thou and brought them to our level. Jedi were weak, on the run and broken and the Sith weren't so obvious. They were hidden, calculating and much darker than anything Bioware could create. I love Star Wars and Obsidian has some of the best writers in the industry.
4: Top 5 non RPGs?
Portal 2. No game has ever made me laugh so hard and tear so often from laughing. The cross-platform was great since I could play with my friends too.
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale such a fun indie title and a big surprise unfortunaltey it's overlooked.
Legend of Zela WInd Waker. I love the Zelda series I grew up on them but Wind Waker was different from anything before. It was Link, a boat and the open sea.
Thief series (i cheated) the best stealth games ever. Splinter cell has unfortunately become more actiony, Hitman is great but always has been a diamond in the rough but Thief has always been excellent.
Stacraft I still play it and have gotten many more people not only into the franchise but into the genre.
5: What was the game that made you a gamer?
Legend of Zela NES.
6: Which era in you opinion produced best made the best RPGs? (defnitions at bottom of post)
Silver Age. Story is the most important thing to me always has.
7: What is your gaming platform of Choice?
PC first and foremost
8: On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is ultra casual gamer, and 10 is obsessive uber geek where would you place yourself.
7 maybe 8 not sure really.

3: Top 5 RPGs (however you define them)?
Might & Magic World of Xeen, Etrian Odyssey III, 7th Dragon, Neverwinter Nights, Lands of Lore I.
4: Top 5 non RPGs?
UFO: Enemy Unknown, Millenium 2.2, Fate/Stay Night, Unreal Tournament 2k4, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody Hisoutensoku.
Representing Best Strategy, Best Management, Best Visual Novel, Best Shooter, and Best Beat-Em-Up, respectively, IMHO. Although there are some hard choices there.
5: What was the game that made you a gamer?
Millenium 2.2
6: Which era in you opinion produced best made the best RPGs? (defnitions at bottom of post)
As a general rule of thumb, Silver Age. Mainly because, it retrospect, Golden Age games were terribly hard to get into and had archaic controls and character development.
8: On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is ultra casual gamer, and 10 is obsessive uber geek where would you place yourself.
7.8~ I'm not obsessive, but I am undeniably an uber-geek. Anime, RPGs, Games, the whole lot. I'm a veteran Pen & Paper GM, and have released my own Anime RPG system as well.

3: Legend of the Red Dragon, Ecco the Dolphin, The 7th Saga, FF7, Kings Quest VI,
4: Starcraft, warcraft tides of darkness, JetMoto, Quake 1, Sonic
5: I always loved RPG's even as a child, FF7 came along at just the right time when I was transitioning from PC gaming to PC and proprietary platform gaming. between FF7 and Quake 1 there was no turning back.
6: Golden age bordering Silver age. Most of the games that really captivated me were made in the mid 90's. though I was playing MUD's on a local BBS as a child.
7: PC, though i do have a PS3 and a few DS's
8: I am around a 5 or 6 when I have a lot going on at work, but when the weekend hits or I get time off I am constantly gaming be it vidiot games or D&D. luckily a lot of nerds are in the Navy, so I have a good amount of people that are interested in playing.
