Haven't played any of the dungeon crawler genre but LoG seemed interesting and I am having a blast with it so far.
Closest thing to a dungeon crawler experience could be some my fiddling around with The Elder Scrolls II:Daggerfall. The starter dungeon is huge and you get easily lost in there.

Dungeon master haunted my nights when I was 8, well, LoG haunts my work day, so I've got 1 code screen, and one LoG forum screen Hard to focus on this java damn !
