Haha, be prepared to fight a lot of monsters if there are no scripts in the dungeon :p. (Presumably you always need a completeGame() script somewhere too?).
I know we've not finished round 1 yet, but all this talk of round 2 is also getting my excited. I quite like the idea of adding a bunch of custom assets to the dungeon at the start - I'm not sure if I like the idea that room creators cannot add custom assets themselves, but if there were 20 custom assets already available at the start - it would probably cut down on the custom assets added later (as something similar may already have been added).

I thought I'd be swift and finish my room tonight, but then I checked my email and all hell broke loose as usual. Just when I was thinking I was almost done before christmas. : D Fear not, I'll have it done as fast as possible. I have only lectures this week, no sudden, country-spanning trips like I fear I'll have in a few weeks : P
And I hoped for some action, now I have it all at once!

I could totally do a scriptless dungeon. nothing but timers and counters and connectors and plates. Just think of all the connectors. Looking at it in the editor would seriously be like looking at a circuitry diagram.

@Kuningas: Hehe, I had plans to 'deliver the fastest room' by copying and pasting in from a source dungeon. These things never seem to work out quite as planned. :p. Looking forward to seeing your room though!
@HaunterV: Hah! It would look like the old Little Big Planet 1 stages - wires and buttons all over the shop.

I don't like the idea of no custom assets. Custom assets are kinda what I'm all about lol.

There may a be rule to not have custom assets that require additional files (models, textures) but, for example shaft mace or dragon mouth socket or marble slime (?) would be allowed.
Also I totally love an idea of dugeon of good&evil (light&darness/order&chaos). Reminds me of recently published Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream (
http://gianasisterstwisteddreams.com/). I can imagine party, upon entering good dungeon, turn evil and is killing good fairy/angelic creatures. Then when entering evil dungeon they turn back into valiant heroes fighting against forces of darkness. Of course these changes may be only story-wise ones (I don't expect changing portraits and such).
