Just my last thought before I head to bed.
Maybe it'll look more sensible when I wake up.
I had to double the canvas size to make it look even this good.
Should probably do the crab in a 1024x1024 too...

Some parts of the body, like the horns are okay. But that face is UUUGLY. (not insulting your work, all ogres are ugly)
Stil, knowing you I'm sure it will come out good.

One part of the ogre that takes the circuitry really well is his shoulder guard.

Maybe you can try a wounded cyborg approach ? like having a standard skin (maybe jusr a little bit touched for a more artificial appearance) and then have wound patches showing circuitries and sparkles and wires?

Since we are currently only able to put one particle system on a monster (For now. Since I keep missing Petri's coding sessions, could someone remind him that we want to have multiple particle systems?)
Have more than one wound would be difficult.
I'm looking for a smooth gray/black/white texture to give the Ogre's body to make him look less fleshy.
I might already have one in my repertoire. I have like 400 free to use textures or something crazy.
