Hi there. I installed the MQ yesterday, and I've been having a blast with it. But right now I'm stuck on a couple things.

The main thing is not knowing where a lock is on Level 2. Simply put, I consulted the walkthrough, and this is where I'm at

NORTH
- grab whitewood wand in alcove
- push secret button on N wall to open portcullis
- fight herders in halls
- push button to open door (notice wall opening back W also
- fight more herders
(SECRET 2-6-9)
- find brass key in N room
(TREASURE 1)
(currently here)- use key in lock to open wall

So yeah, can someone please tell me where the lock is?

The other thing that I can't figure out is Secret 2-5-8 NW holding cells. I get that I need to make a skeleton stand on a plate, and pull a lever, but the problem is that I'm not sure where the plate is.

Finally, I'd like to ask a couple things.

1. Has the walk through been continued on past level 7?

2. By any chance, is there a way to see the maps in master quest if all else fails?

The lock is on the wall in the far NE corner of the map

If you carefully look at all the floors of the six cells, you can see that one is raised and is a pressure plate. It's the NE one.

I haven't finished the walkthrough yet, not sure when that is going to happen

The maps aren't online yet, but in the next update (coming soon) they will be included in a folder within the "source" download on Nexus.

Hey Komag i cannot find this room (hidden button for slime level )? (the door to slim level is closed) I searched all from your walktrough .How you have a legend for your small maps in walktrough?
your maps very small part to see for me the rooms.

Actually the map shown for that secret has all the info you need.

The button to open the top left room is located near the top right of the blue circle. Then the button to open the wall leading to the slime stairs is located near the top left of the blue circle.

This Puzzle is very hard for me i had testet two hours and nothing.
Destert Tunnel entrance!! Hallways-
I am very hurry and i come not in the open open door always closed very hurry for me. ( in the original game was a teleporter and now a button-with the butten is very difficult)

To enter the Deserted Tunnels, you'll need to solve a puzzle. First, equip a throwing item (the Rock found in the hallway nearby will do the job), and stand near the lever. Flip it, opening the door but also shutting a gate in front of you. Quickly, run in sight of the floor switch and throw your object at it, which will open the gate. From there, run into the open door before it closes again. It might take you a few tries to get the timing down.

Note that if you hold the floor switch down and throw the lever on the wall, a secret room near the floor switch will be revealed. It's not a secret, but rather contains a message - "your feet may never carry you here hastily enough" - which is a clue about needing to throw an object instead.
i running to the open iron gate is open now, i going trough the iron door (complete open)and the last wooden door i come not in( ,always closed bevore i going in.

Well the spoiler explains pretty well what you need to do. Just do it fast enough.

- hold a light object (<= 1.0 kg, i.e. a rock or a scroll) on your mouse cursor which can fly 3 squares when mouse tossed
- face the lever, position your mouse over it
- do NOT move your mouse anymore or you have to re-focus it for the door button
- now follow this sequence:
flip lever -> gate closes
E, D, S, D, click button -> door opens
A, E, toss the item on your mouse cursor onto pressure plate once the door has opened enough -> gate+door open
A, A (make sure you do NOT run into the still opening gate!), A, S

Thanks for the mod. I am stuck at the beginning of level 10, trying to get inside the Sanctum. Hope someone can help.

There is a wall in the way that is blocking the magic shot.
