I started playing Eye of the Atlantis and so far I'm really enjoying your work Drakkan.

Yet I'm stuck right now in the Watchtower dungeon level 3. There is one of those cubes that you can move which I did to the other orange plate and I could hear a sound but don't know what it did. Nearby there is a button where I have not figured out what that button does. South of the cube area seems to be a cavein but I was not able to destroy that. I can see a watcher and a fire monster but I can't reach them. Could someone give me a hint how to continue in this level?

How much life do these electric spiders have? I could not kill one yet and they come in pairs at the "secret" graveyard. I planned to return there after I explored some other areas.

I am not 100% sure where exactly you are , but...

afair that button triggers a teleporter field in which you have to throw something to create
a bridge
and the spiders are ! hard to kill
you can postpone it and come back later

I think you have just overlooked that

pushing the button spawn teleport which you need activate, this will create magical bridge over the lava - its quite hard visible, but it is there ;)
as for the spiders, one has 350hp and they are definitely not to fight with low-leveled party :)

the spawning teleporter in the distance. The bridge was easy though as it makes this humming sound so I was quickly aware it was there.

This is one of the best mods I have played although it was a little too difficult in parts.I have visited all the obelisks but I am still not sure which square is the starting point for the treasure.Can you confirm the square position ?
