Man this dungeon is HARD! I am only on the second level and already ready to restart on easy. The original is a cakewalk compared to this.
It is awesome though, and the puzzles are brilliant, the atmosphere is great, all the names for the rooms and the writing on the wall. But I am not surprised....after all this was made by the guy who singlehandedly created the best fantasy 4x game ever! As a total Eador fanboy I am really surprised nobody noticed that so far.

Sorry to say I own Grimrock but have not yet played it.
I just now registered and logged in here for the sole purpose of thanking you for making one of the most impressive strategy games of all time. I eagerly await installing Grimrock to experience this work from you as well.
What you made was a god damn masterpiece. Eador is everything someone could ask for in a strategy rpg. You made something every old-school strategy gamer was waiting for. What you've done was heroic, just as much as the characters I play in your game. What Snowbird did with the remake is a joke compared to what you accomplished, without question.
I'm just telling you because I think you should be proud. If I ever did anything as incredible, I sure as hell would be.

What does the head mean by serf's wrappings? Tried to feed it just about anything, but nothing seems to work...

that peasant hat. Don't remember the name, but it's like a turbant

Okay, so I figured the first part of the Glowing Pit, however, I'm stuck on the second part.
How do I open the grate blocking the stairs? Thanks!
