Hello,
I just registered to thank the whole team for creating this fantastic mod (which I just finished after 15 hours of play).
Great quality and layout, not encountered any glitches and I absolutely loved all the references to the classics (especially Dwarf Fortress )
Keep up the good work!

hey if you are interested look at the bug. Not sure if it was reported already, haven't read through all pages.

In the Grimforest-swamp area, the player doesn't have to reach the X lever b/c he can simply strafe left from the ladder around the fence (red arrow):

Re: The Legend of the Lost Dwarf Kingdom of Kahrak'arul
This mod is horrid, but it's still the best mod i have played for LoG2, which says quite a lot. I played until the "endurance challenge", with randomly opening / closing secret doors, before i finally gave up from pure boredom. I think that section is called the "endurance" challenge because the modder wanted to see if you could endure that extremely boring "puzzle" before you threw your PC out the window.
Good things:
A few interesting puzzles here and there
Party banter somewhat entertaining
Nice scenery design in the forests and swamp
The notes from Rindrim the Mad add an interesting twist to the story, although the writing was not exactly the best
Bad things:
Every dungeon looks the same. No distinguishing features what so ever
Linear! You are just walking along a 1 tile wide hallway through the entire game, even in the forests
Bizarre puzzles where you pull a lever / push a button, and have no idea what happened. Instakilling fireball obstacles with trap doors that drop you into a pit full of dinosaurs, absolutely impossible on 1st try.
Repetitive puzzles, after opening your 100th "secret" door with a "secret" switch you get bored
Awful item progression. You find the sickle sword before you even find a shirt for your 4th guy. You find the entire chitin armor set while your other frontliner doesn't even have gloves. In level 1 you fight a Mimic with your stick and a dagger (what?). You find the two-handed sword AFTER you find the battle axe and flail. Stuff like that.
Crazy enemies. Rat packs with 400+ health (default is 150). Acolyte spawns from a grave in the graveyard (at this point your party is about level 5...). Dinosaurs that deal 80 damage (you face these at level 6!).
Overall the mod really pulled me in with an interesting story, decent layout design (in the beginning) and party banter, but finally i succumbed to the linearity, boredom, un-inspiredness of the dungeon hallways un-fairness of the item progression, monster variety and puzzle design. Still the best mod i've played though! And it's better than all the mods i have made myself so far. Keep up the modding!

Whew!!!! I want to express my admiration for the author of THIS PUZZLE here!
I spent about an hour of real time, and realized that I was not paying attention and absolutely need on it to develop and train my memory! ..
And, of course, thank you for creating add-on! I went with great pleasure the first few levels and I really like puzzles and search for secrets.
Only here it is not clear... The game doesn't work counter secrets in "Statistics" or the lack of statistics is the secret to the author?..

@Nathaniel: I filmed the sequence with my Smartphone and then push playback...
But the reason I write is different. The game always crashes at the same place. In the abandoned structure lower levels in front of the rear door. I open it and ... CRASH.

You need to upgrade to version 2.2.4Wolfswerwolf wrote:Game Version: 2.1.9
(that's the newest version)
Version 2.1.9 does not have the castSpell function
(it was added in Beta 2.1.14)
