Today i worked at the DM wallset.. man, this one drives me crazy^^
Baking from geometry is a real pain, because it must be from every single mesh included..

Really complex asset!

Your Item and asset creations look really very nice germanny. Especially the Dungeon Master assets are amazing.
If not anybody else already modded DM I would do it with your DM-assets
But also your other creations, I think I will use some of them (Bed, Table etc) to design the small villages (I think Inn is the better word) for the outdoor Area of AP2.

Germanny your work is really brilliant !

The quality of your wood textures always amaze me.
I'd love to know your workflow when working on this kind of asset !

Germanny I have a question, is it doable to make a special version of one of your bed assets with a resting Elder (an old man in robes i.e) on it?
I need a dying Master wich is waiting for a health-potion and if the player brings the potion, the Master will vanish out of the scene (destroyable object maybe) and the Gate to the Dungeon Exit will open.
Is it possible making 3D-Objects with an Human beeing resting on it?

Thx, we will see when its done^^
Mmmh... workflow is a good word for that xD
You need a good picture, i go outside with my cam and take shots, or i look through web, there are plenty of textures for free!
I do graphics since 1993, and i have plenty of textures in my library too^^
The rest is mainly Photoshop work for the color map and the bump. Normal map is balanced out with blender then.

It is possible, but i am full involved into dm wallset. If i have a good fast idea, maybe.

What kind of camera do you use?
I too plan on taking some real life textures for use in games.

Nothing special, a kodak w. 10 MP - dont use flash and shoot with no sunlight, so there are no harsh reflections or colour differences.
And the rest is preparing in photoshop.

I will go with this texture, looks good! Note this is a blender rendering from the high poly mesh, it differs in game a bit!

I thought the first one was really good! lol

hmm. If you can get reasonably good textures with 10mp, I think I could too!
Thanks for the info.

As Germanny said, you also can find a lot of textures on the net, for exemple http://www.brusheezy.com/textures
