I've tried it myself... the book says:
FAAM KO UHU AR. PALA KO AR KO UHU NEL (??).
AR NA LAM FAAM NA.
so it means:
rotate right x3; up; left; rotate left x3; left x3; up (??);
left x2; down; rotate right x2
I don't know what NEL means, so if we assume that it means "x4" - it points you to the right spot. But how someone could figure it of it's own AND guessed that we should dig three times in this place... for me it's hard to believe.

Now that people know where it is watch them patch it to a different location and drop in a few extra hints. The ever moving relic.

-> rotate right x3 > you face an empty tile, stone philosopher is to the right
-> ahead 1 > you step into that empty tile, now facing a rock wall
-> rotate left x3 > you face an empty tile, rock is to your left
-> left x3 > impossible since there is a freaking rock
so do the next instruction first
-> ahead x4 > you face empty files all around you
-> left x3 > now it's possible, still all empty tiles around you
now continue as translated
-> left x2 > all empty tiles around you
-> back 1 -> all empty tiles around you
-> rotate left 2x -> all empty tiles around you
-> dig -> nothing- -> dig -> nothing -> dig -> nothing ... repeat til all eternity
