Now if you want to go totally random that's pretty easy to do in character selection
- select the 1st player slot and click the dices beside "Name", "Race", "Class", "Attributes", "Traits" and "Skills"
- repeat for the number of characters you like to have and start the game
Ah, so you do have to.
A 'random all' button would have been nice, at least per character. But at least those are there, it could be worse.

I think, I made up my mind now, at least a little, what my party will look like. I will have a Ratling (with the Mutation-Trait) in Front (I love a little chaos), and besides him an Insectoid named "Brundlefly". And in the back not 1, but TWO human Alchemists, blasting away with Steampunky Guns. Yes, I think that sounds about fun.

Something I don't get about the Battlemage and Wizard. It says that their class advantage it the ability to cast spells with their bare hands? Does that mean other classes require an orb or staff to cast if they take points in a casting skill?

At a guess, I would say so... as it was in Grimrock 1 (mages can cast with bare hands... Rangers needed a staff/orb to cast)

Rangers could cast spells in the first Grimrock?
I thought you needed a few points in an element before you could use the weakest spells. Unless you're talking about custom spells...
