The name like Giant's Grip/Hold is really good.

If you wanted to imply that the trait was supernatural and almost sinister, you might call it Devil or Demon's Grip.

As a hat-tip to LoG 1, maybe something like Machine's Grip (in reference to the Cube boss battle). Also, Golem's Grip.

That LoG2 skill system looks yummy! Removing the gaps of the LoG1 skill system will indeed make things much more interesting.

Yet i might miss the LoG1 system a bit: when a party is new/young even a few skill points can get a player several things. To compensate maybe new LoG2 chars start out with more then 1 skill points?

The plan is that the characters start with only one skillpoint, except humans who get two. Bare in mind that we haven't tested this in practice yet, so things might still change.

Wait isnt't einhander one-handed? I thought zwiehander was two handed.

Yup.
Einhänder = one-handed sword
Zweihänder = two-handed sword

And if you're wielding a Zweihänder like an Einhänder, you might as well name the feat after the latter
