The issue I have with 3d is mostly the mouse and character portraits. The game should be a no brainier very simple "fix" for 3d that I really hope they look into. It looks quite nice as it is, but its something of an eyestrain being you can't really not focus on the mouse pointer pretty much constantly.

So please please please.

On my system, this particular problem was resolved by adjusting the convergence and saving the appropriate setting. It is necessary to adjust such that there is a single mouse pointer that is aligned with the game world, so you may want to stand in front of a switch when making this adjustment, so you can test the result. Here is information on how to make the convergence adjustments, which amounts to enabling this feature in the Nvidia control panel, and using key combinations to increase, decrease, or save the setting.

Ok that was embarrassing, I know how to change convergence, just didn't think to do it on the mouse cursor. That plus helix mod makes this very playable. Miss the shadows but like true 3d better. Thanks for the reminder.

Sorry, wasnt able to fix shadows. Not a very experienced coder. If anyone likes 3D games and knows shader language the tools are available. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/
I am glad that some 3d users got use out of my fix. You should definetly check out the page for more fixes of you favorite games. Helix has fixed many games that were unplayable before.

In games with 2d elements adjust convergence based on the 2d elements. Such as diablo 3,games with mouse cursors, health bars etc.
