That was actually the first RPG I bought to play on my dad's PC. For a long time I was convinced the dragon was the "golden beast." I always killed off Phillip and Julian since I found Kevin to be kinder than both.

Wonder though how you managed to make a seamless Grimrock tileset out of all this irregular shaped stuff. I assume it needs a lot of manual placement? Or was the engine updated somehow?
To be fair, your tileset conforms much more with the design of the staple tilesets IMO. But it's really cool that to see what they did with the improved engine, so that's not meant as a criticism of AH.

It would also be kind of boring if there were two mine tilesets that looked mostly the same.

\o/ awesome

I only hope the improved engine won't bring my computer to its knees.

You never know it may be more efficient and run even better on your PC. :)

I was completely stunned when I saw those screenshots! I especially like that Egyptian-styled environment, as I have a special favour for that. I just hope, we get the assets afterwards to use the new stuff in the editor. Nevertheless, the release will feel like Christmas day when being a child! :D

Yeah, can't wait. Haven't played any other game than Grimrock for one month. I'd even pay some sort of monthly fee, to get more dungeons from you. :)

(if they aren't shorter than the original one, there's no point in taking care of a party which will be "Game Overed" on level 6 or something, that's why I didn't try any community made mod until now)

Hey these are wonderfull news! They actually made me log in after a looong time ( what to post about after completing the game more than once?).

But what it is? An expansion? A prototype of LoG 2 ? I guess the later, for as far as i know engines don't get upgraded for expansions ( or DLC's as it is fashionable to call them nowadays) .

I only beg you not to give it some pretensious name ( like Myth of Somestone. LoG 2 is a really good name, belive ;) ), and make a bit story-heavier - world You have barrely drafted in LoG, begs to be explored an explained, and we all got enough headaches from creating elaborate ( and not always sane ;) ) teories on what the cube actually is. Perhaps more scrolls/books with flauvour texts to be found?

P.S perhaps i will install LoG again for I have still few things to see, and a the user-made dungeons to check out.
