I think I should work on a video tutorial of retexturing for the Laguardian.
That way I could cover particle effects, too.

May just have to check it out then, things tend to aggravate me, but once I figure something out I usually pick up on it pretty fast
Modeling with Blender will likely take a lot of getting used to. Simply modyfying decor can be done without too much pain(see Skuggasveinn's tutorial:viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4043&hilit=tutorial). However anything with animation's or that requires new models while require a lot of practice.

This isn't to say your doomed however. With work it can certaintly be done. You should also know the size and positions of an object can be changed right out of the GMT, even for things with animations. I used this to take away a skeletons shield. However it stops that part from moving except in relation to whatever it's attached to, except for with size changes

Had been taking a break from working on my dungeon since I was running out of ideas of how to do the layouts. Just started working a bit on it again and have almost finished the 8th floor! I plan to have about 20 in total so it's going to take a while...

Pouring over a hundred hours into the new XCOM game didn't help with modding, either

Neikan sounds like a good idea, if you want to include one for how to change simple colors not just the lighting effects on models, and make them...not so pastel, then even better :)

Asteroth, I will check it out then, I am realistic I'm not going to be adding everything from the original game, simply because it would be a royal pain in the arse! And this game far as I can tell wouldn't support some of animation items, but I am trying to create a sconce to go on the walls that I can alter the color of the flame, as well as a puddle of water when walked across splash's (or no splash) its all good.

Ixnatifual 0.o heh sounds like your level is going to be even more massive than the one I'm working on. Mine will have a total of 5 floors + a few cave levels (that will will be tricky to texture) and the secret levels that are optional, something I threw in for laughs. By the way, does anyone know how to make the Teleporter's silent, and not be soo d@mn noisy? When you enter my areas you can't hear my custom music because the stupid things are so loud, and the music is low in some areas, I tried hitting silent under their properties, but their still louder than sin.

Good gosh!
I'm just on the fourth of twelve levels (cloning the EOB dungeon); and I have fully finished plans of the whole thing to work from, and it's still daunting. I can't imagine doing twenty originals.

** What's the level cap for the automap btw? Is there one? Also... Does the engine load everything or just one (or two or three) floors at a time?

From your Avatar Isaac, I thought that was what you was working on :). I bet its going to be groovy, I used to play that on my old Sega CD, kind of skipped that one on PC when It was out, was playing other things at that time. The module I am trying to create is based off of an old favorite of mine, its a surprise ;) that is why I haven't said the name yet. If you have played it, then I'm sure you've already guessed what it is, it was cartoony, so its not going to be the same on here, and some of the monsters would be a downright ***** to create and animate, so I will probably skip that part. I may *may* create one special one for the final boss, because that is how my story is going to go, 21 years later a new lord of evil makes the dungeon his home, etc etc, you know the drill  .

Anyways let me know when both of your levels are done and I'll try them out, I am a big fan of the classics, helps when you grew up with them ;).

Isn't there a checkbox for that? There is for pressure plates.

Yes I seen the option to make them silent, but it doesn't appear to work, unless mine are glitched or something? Its odd, I may just remove them, and place a new set in and re-do the transitions. 8-) Btw, thanks to Isaac's assist, Juho's psd.link and a few others tips, I finally got the blasted walls for the first floor working right, and I have an idea of how these things work now. This was my first attempt to script anything since I made a game on the old Commodore years ago, so its been awhile, and things work a lot different on these newer ones. I will keep everyone updated on the progress, when its done, its going to be fun :).

I think invisible teleporters make no sound.
The checkbox for silent means it doesn't make a sound when something steps in it and gets teleported.
