I think this may be some kind of new, highly infectious, airbourne virus that a lot of people here are about to catch. Don't rush back to work mate, just take your time. I'm sure sitting at your pc playing Grimrock just might be the cure for this.

Have someone phone in and inform them that you have a rare new condition called 'The Grimrot', tell them it makes you feel trapped, that the world looks dark and brings great dread.

Tell them you are hallucinating, seeing giant spiders and strange mobile fungii. Let them know that you feel the floor could drop beneath you at any time and you are constantly feeling disoriented.

Tell them three others in your family have been brought down with the condition, and that you are all fighting it and supporting each other through it with great difficulty.

Have them told that your loved ones are waiting with bated breath for your return to the light of reason and sanity. :P

I finished my master degree!
Yes I admit it - I was quite happy when they pushed the release date :D

And then I kinda played some EOB3 - spend some time fiddeling with DosBox so that it actually runs smoothly now. Or...kinda of at least.

Fiddling around with the Sniper Elite V2 Demo (an action game with sniping pseudo-simulation aspects set in the closing days of WW2). Not much to say, though - the game sticks out more due to its gratuitous depiction of internal body damage (Successful shots are presented in slow motion, with an x-ray depiction of where the bullet hits and which bones or internal organs get destroyed in the process. And yes, you can even blow off enemy testicles. They burst like grapes. Yuck.) than to good mission and map design or anything alike.

I did all of this weeks work last week, and then I suddenly had nothing constructive to do. Usually when that happens, I would just paint or read, but I had a hard time focusing on either of those.
So I began to plow through many of the shorter indie titles that I have managed to get thanks to these indie bundles that seem to swarm all over the web.
