If you want use the console in game, add line console = true
With consoleKey = 115 use F4 for open the console

That's exactly what i did but it doesn't work. I can't open the console in the Editor or in game. I've even tried assigning the console to a different key than F4 but to no avail.

Is it the file Documents/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock/grimrock.cfg you change ?
Normally it work.
For the key code some key are not the same from one country to another.

Yep, that's the cfg I changed.

try replacing the number of some other command that you know works, just to test it

Thanks. Do you mean change another command in the cfg file?

What I have noticed is that with the cfg now changed to include consolKey = 115 & console = true
when I press F4 in game I get a number "4" appear in the top left corner of the screen. If I press it multiple times, I get lots of 4s. Also the movement buttons ie. QWEASD all cease to work. Hmm.

Yeah, I mean comment out or replace another command and use its number, so you know what key for sure will work, then test it. Of course you should have a backup first (hopefully you already did that!)

Thanks for your help. It's working now - not sure how as I didn't do anything. Confused but happy.

So, I've made the correct changes, but I'm wondering how exactly to type in say

spawn = ("dagger") ? or how is it to be entered?

edit: this is in 1.3.6 by the way.
