I've seen people post similar things so many times, I was all ready to write up a polite and helpful response!
It wasn't till I read "Regards,~Drama Queen" that I started to figure it out!

Hehe
OMG, just noticed I wrote 'pets' instead of 'pants' in my earlier post.
Probably because my cat's driving me nuts today ^^
Fixed it, though ^^

All phrases in my post were copy/pasted from previous posts in this thread (I just replaced Skull/Fire Blade with Round Key) so it's hardly exaggeration
I usually try not to troll or be overly sarcastic, but sometimes I don't have enough willpower to restrain.
In my work I often have to deal with household appliances manuals and at first I was pretty surprised I had to write down things like "do not put plastic bag on head of your children" or "do not dry your cat in microwave". I used to think people are not so dumb. But several years in the business taught me that there are no limits in how customers may fail if even some elementary thinking is required. That's why I'm not so surprised you took my post seriously
I mean I don't mind people doing mistakes or silly things - I do stupid things all the time (in games and real life alike). What sets me off are people who made mistake and then blame the others. My younger cousin beat me in chess because at one point I've made fatal (and rather unthoughtful) move with one of my bishops - but no, it's faulty chess designs to blame.
Remember the guy who dumped his scrolls from level 4 into some random pit? These scrolls weren't marked as anything important so he probably though these are just some flavour scrolls and threw them away. Happens. But did he gone berserk about those scrolls?

...since you're an expert in manuals, what do you think of Grimrock's manual ?
Does it give enough information to the player about weapons or game mechanics ?

The official information on weapons and game mechanics is very lacking.
However, that's not really a problem. You can get through with very poorly assigned stats, as while the stats will help, practically any party can complete the game. How you engage the combat is usually more important than your stats.
Of course, a few optional parts might be impossible for a poor configured party without waiting until higher level...
