I was unable to complete it until I lowered down graphics quality settings to the lowest one. "Darkness" spell also came helpful (at least for me )

Do you like, run around the dungeon encumbered 90% of the time? You might want to keep an eye on being unencumbered all the time, not just when solving time-based puzzles.Craig234 wrote:Whew, I try not to get help with the game, but was pretty stuck on this - the mention of being encumbered made the difference! I forgot all my chars were barely able to move.
With that, I got it in about 4 tries.
My interpretation is that the additional latency introduced with low (and very low) FPS make this challenge hard or even impossible. I had the around 15-25 FPS in the whole game (and was also not encumbered) and gave up after 30 tries on this challenge. I think I also tried reducing the quality settings to minimum whcih made for my system only a limited difference FPS-wise.Lyverbe wrote:I don't understand this issue with this challenge. I got it on the first try (once I figured out what had to be done). Honestly!
I didn't lower the graphics or used a speed potion. I just concentrated on where I had to go, period. Call me lucky, I guess
It can't be done if any member of your party is overloaded. Drop all (or some) of your stuff in the hall first. It is challenging even when the party moves at full speed.Baxter wrote:Hello, I bought this game a couple of days ago and have been enjoying it immensely. I enjoy the fact that it's difficult and doesn't forgive mistakes but the level 7 iron door puzzle is frustrating me immensely, as I am physically unable to move the character fast enough to block all the bolts. I've literally tried more than 20 times and always failed right before the end. From a quick google there are some other people with similar problems, and I was wondering if in a future patch that the challenge could be adjusted slightly for people whose reflexes aren't as lightning fast as other peoples, or who experience a weird and constant input lag when playing the game.
