Sometimes you can't finish games. Fact of gaming life. Been that way since the dawn of electronic gaming. The key is to not take it personally.

If I am interested enough in the game, I'll usually just cheat. ... Although to be honest, I'm not sure that looking up the passwords in Neuromancer by reading the game code was really "cheating". I was in character!
Basically, I care more whether I'm having fun than whether I'm following some predefined set of rules that may not suit my interests. For singleplayer games, I really don't care.
I have got to grips with monster killing, and the puzzles, I usually have the solution worked out within seconds, but unfortunately my hands are no were near as fast as my mind.

Yeah, I have had some trouble with that. There's a puzzle where you have to click a button while moving fairly quickly that took me several tries.
