Just to counter some of the sentiments here and let the devs know that the Steam keys are still a good idea I pre-ordered because of the Steam key. If there wasn't one I would have waited until I could get it on Steam. I know others that feel similar.

That being said, more options are always a good thing and good job on giving the stand alone option on the pre-orders so quickly.

Agreed. I always choose Steam when given the choice. Steam and GOG are the only places I buy games from anymore, unless I have the option of buying directly from a developer such as in this case.
