Then you have to reload or start over. The fire balls stops the spawning too. It's the only way out.eLPuSHeR wrote: Thanks! I will check later. But I still have the problem with being unable to proceed forward to the end of the corridor because of the endless monster spawns.

Yes, I was aware after a little trying. I am now proceeding on. I think the only altar left for me it's the god of thunder one. I have also pressed a button near

the "pick your door" (btw: I used two gear keys there) room and I don't know what the hell it did. I heard a door opening or something like that but there is no one near...

The god of thunder needs a lighting rod found in level 3, the corridor before you get back up to the pick your door part. There is also a lighting rod in one of the rooms that can be opened with gear keys. Jus in case someone used the one fond in level3.
SpoilerShow
The button opens a secret door to an area with three alcoves after the god of thunder altar.

The gear keys lets you pick "goodies" from the rooms, but does nothing else. There is a twist here too, if you've found the "Pjofa's key" you can open all the doors. That key can be found after the Pjofa's altar in a secret room. Let me know if you want to know more about it.

I have another question. Is there any way to get past the
SpoilerShow
"hard way" section?. I got really annoyed about that part to the point I am thinking about not playing anymore. It seems I didn't get all the gems (I remember not getting the one in the teleporter's maze btw).

Hej.

Yes, you can get past the hard way. I did it, too.eLPuSHeR wrote:I have another question. Is there any way to get past theSpoilerShow"hard way" section?. After being teleported, you land in an alcove of the giant room that is filled with lots and lots of monsters. What you do is you go out of that alcove, kill a monster/group of monsters, return to the alcove, rest and save the game if needed and start over by killing the next monster/monster group that is near that alcove. Always fight only one monster/group of monsters. If you have their attention, lure them towards the alcove where you started because it is more likely that there are no other monsters. Repeat until the room is clean. It will take some time but you receive lots of experience points and will gain at least one level for every character.

Re: Master Arrak's Treasure (MOD)
Thanks. I was just doing that but it seems monsters are respawning non-stop... I will keep trying. I also rested for a while and more monsters respawned. Holy shit.Gunnar wrote:Hej.

Re: Master Arrak's Treasure (MOD)
Even if I haven't finished this module yet, I'd like to point out what I don't like about it or how it could be improved.
+ Low weapons variety. I intended to make one of my chars mace specialist. I've yet to find some of these: sling, dagger, mace...
+ Low loot.
+ High difficulty on some places.
+ Not too much food (adequate).
+ sometimes monsters get stuck on a single square in a corridor and tend to move in a circling manner. Quite annoying.

Re: Master Arrak's Treasure (MOD)
The thought behind the different ways is that some players like to look for secrets and figure things out while others would rather fight their way through it. It's either the difficulty of finding all gems or fighting a lot of monsters.eLPuSHeR wrote:I have another question. Is there any way to get past theSpoilerShow"hard way" section?. Did you find the catacombs on level 2? There are several gems hidden there and it could possibly be enough to get out through the "exit" with a more balanced monster rate.

Re: Master Arrak's Treasure (MOD)
Red Arrow. You drop down from level 2 at the beginning. This is how you get there.
SpoilerShow
Fill the altar of Mukka. A wall grating near the starirs opens. Take the food in the alcove where the wall text says "Don't feed the prisoners." A wall behind the grating opens. Break the cave in and you can go past it, drop down the pit and you've reached the area marked on the map.
