Great atmospheric game - though it has confused me completely. I've no idea where to go next but am having fun looking, so came here only to find out I've missed everything. Ah well. The puzzles are incredibly obscure but that feels like the point - no way would I have come up with any of this, it's like a Pratchett game! :) cheers dude, am of to drop things into other things, see if that gets me off level 5. :D

Level 7:
How do I switch the machine to other planes than the plane of ice?
The only rune that works on the control panel is the rune in lower right corner, I get 2 green lights and the gate on level 6 takes me to the cold place.
Every other rune just makes red lights blink on the machine.

I also don't understand how to enrich orichalcum - I expect this is used to fuel the machine?
I can't find the enrichment chamber - is it the chamber opposite the control panel, the chamber that is called "orichalcum cell"?
I've tried to put raw orichalcum in this room and switch on the control panel, but the orichalcum remains raw.

I have the tome which explains how to do these things, but I still can't figure it out.

Maybe it's just me, but I find this mod to be extremely confusing :(

1 ore and an ice rune opens the portal to the ice plane (part of it), it's a side quest
5 ore and a fire or air rune enriches that ore
10 enriched ore and a spirituality rune opens the portal to the spiritual plane (main quest line)

Reminder: the enrichment process works with any number of raw orbs. Just keep in mind that the number of orbs change the amount of time required for the process to complete.

Should I do this in the room with the control panel? Just carry the raw orichalcum in inventory along with the rune tablets?
What about the "orichalcum cell" room - what is the purpose of this room?

EDIT: Thanks for trying to help, but I think I'm gonna drop this mod. I managed to convert 5 raw orbs, but when I try 5 more nothing happens. This mod must be the most frustrating and annoying mod I've ever played.
A mod is supposed to be fun and challenging, in my opinion this mod is not :(

Then i don't see what would prevent the enrichment process to work once when it's triggered again. Is anything else in the alcove beside the orbs? i.e. the orbs must not be inside a container
