how could the most important "review" site be missed? ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock
http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock
http://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock

I would say, in general positive. :) Also a sign of positive reception is that already 6 articles in various wikipedias (not only in the "main" english one) exist ;) For comparision, even the Game Critiques Award winner Bastion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastion_%28video_game%29), which had even an half year more time for article creation, has only 4.

Ok, but jokes aside, I have an request and recommendation to the devs: If you take a look on the article variants, you will notice that the amount of pictures and screenshots is zero beside the english wikipedia and even there is only one low quality picture inside. Here is the reason, WP policies allowing only the usage of pictures which are under public domain or a creative common license. (Left aside the "fair use" policy only available for the english WP).

So here is my request: maybe you could support and enhance all this sources of information by giving out some screenshots to wikimedia commons (http://commons.wikimedia.org) under a creative common license (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commo ... ed_License), the process is described here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:OTRS

Some developers e.g. Trine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trine_%28video_game%29) had done that before, see http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Trine. I would suggest, 1-2 gameplay screenshots, a mainscreen, a logo pciture, and maybe an inventory picture, the more broadbanded the better (would be than also useful in more general articles like game development or game genre articles etc.)

Hope this is a possible request :) Thanks and cheers

UPDATE: Almost Human generously released several pieces of art-work and screenshots under a free creative commons license! Thank you yery much for supporting the LoG articles and Wikipedia in general, many articles can be enhanced now with LoG screenshots to better illustrate computer role-play concepts :)

I liked this one. They dedicated 3 full pages to the game in their print edition, which I think is pretty rare for an Indie game. Also, the reviewer had to say this:

«[...] might have one of the best fun-per-development-time ratios ever. And will hopefully sell by the millions. And will hopefully, finally, lead to a big change in the thinking of major publishers. We want substance and depth, not lifeless but perversely expensive graphics demos!»

Late to the bandwagon, but after buying Grimrock in the Steam Sale recently I gave it a brief review - along with some of my other purchases - here:

Grimrock is toward the end, because I saved the best until last :)

Hey folks.

Let me just throw my review into the pile as well.

I picked the game up during the Steam sale on a whim and ended up enjoying it tremendously.
