I don't recall such a message. The closest would be the "get a running start" puzzle and to get there you need to have almost finished L4 and L3. Now if you're looking for access to L4 beside the SW corner check this

Hey, great mod!
Its the first one so far that really has me thinking a lot. But now I need some help.
I've been searching for hours on end now for the last secret I need to get 18/18. After fully browsing this topic I learned that the secret I need is...
the one on level 6 with the conjurer's hat and fire blade that is apparently on the other side of a cave in. I've hugged every inch of every wall on that floor and the only buttons I've found are the one in the NE area that opens another secret containing the battle axe and fire bombs and the one that opens/closes the wall in the SW corner. On top of that, I've jumped in every pitfall on the floors above (even the death traps!) just to see if I'd end up on the other side of a cave in. The only secret jumping in pitfalls lead me to was the one where I found... well... I forgot since it was like 8 hours ago... but I'm 100% sure it wasn't the one I'm looking for.
I think I've spent long enough looking for it and I'd really appreciate if somebody could tell me exactly where it is. Thanks ahead.

This secret is not opened with a button or accessed by a pitfall. AFAIR it opens in the NW once the treasury gets unlocked by both brass keys.

That's really weird... I've already opened the treasury and explored it way before I started looking for the the last secret... maybe the wall closes after some time? I'll go try running to the stairs and then looking for an open wall in the NW.
*edit*
I figured it out!
I needed to put a torch in the torch holder that's in front of the treasury stair case to open the wall.
Now I can finally go beat the dungeon! Thanks Dr. Disaster for basically telling me where it is. I really appreciate it.

Just finished up your Dungeon.
Really fantastic design and quite challenging. The secrets were very well hidden and rewarding to find. And they definitely increased the power of my group by a large margin each time I found one.
I like how you really just used the traditional assets and with a minimalist elegance.
Thanks for making this and I was looking forward to the sequel but it would seem that venture might have faded.
There are 2 things I need to critique...
1 is the secret on level 6.
There is no clue or hint or pointer to lead one to understand they need to light that one torch. Given that there were numerous torches I ended up looking that secret up here on the boards
A clue there would of been awesome since all the rest had them.
2 is the end fight is ridiculous in my opinion. I always play LoG on hard mode and usually on old school and this was the first mod I straight cheated to finish the fight. I suppose if I had a fire mage with a shield it could have been different but with just the Torq (and I had found all the secrets and was level 9 or 10) the endless spawns and then the drop to ice lizards and no safe spot down there was over the top. I did not fight the fire elementals at all. I went straight to putting keys in but when you have to wait for traps to close up I would lose one party member each time. And if I did it just with one champion and got stuck in the key area I did not have enough damage output to clear them out of my path.
Absolutely top notch Dungeon except for those 2 things.
Thanks again and perhaps you will make the sequel in LoG2 since it has a much more robust terrain and environment set.

Well if the end was about fighting i might agree but it's not.
The end is a classic Indy: grab the treasure and get the hell out of there!

I knew I had to actually run for the key holes.
But that was 4 key holes that I can get trapped in and have to wait to get to them because of the floors.
I tried to find a safe spot below that perhaps I could regain health after being beat up or being overwhelmed above and there was none.
So it ends up basically being get lucky that the plates are timed right and you can get to the key holes without being trapped.
I could usually keep one of my guys alive but that was never enough to do enough damage to clear a fire ele out of the way and have enough potions if I get stuck again. Perhaps I missed some obvious safe spot.
I was playing on hard mode of course and had really no issue anywhere else at all in the entire dungeon.
Still hoping for a sequel though!!

Thanks SapientCrow
True, that secret on level 6 is too obscure, I think I just made one like that to see if people managed to find them all anyway.
About the ending, I know several people had trouble with it, and I considered that for the future. It's does take a knowledge of what is going to happen to win and a different strategy, but it's winnable on hard.
With LoG2 I am back to planning a new mod. It might not be a sequel to this since characters won't carry over, but will have non linear design and tricky puzzles for sure.

Hey Soaponarope
How have you been?
I m so happy you are back into modding business
! Really the pyramid is one of the only 4 modes I kept from LOG1 ( Urs, the mine, ORRR1 & 2)
Even not a sequel, might be so good if you could build a link between the 2 storylines because the atmosphere and everything u did in this mod made it a pure jewel. Y not finding 3 skeletons with the last treasure near the beginning and...
Take care and thanks again
