I was not happy with the old one so I made new human warrior. He is armed with axe and shield, but various weapons will come soon. I made new mesh and skin, textures and animations. He is walking and idling for now and I have to work on turns, hits and attack. It will take day or two...

As for me, till it has two hands, legs and one human head, I am fine with that
hope you will release it soon.

The new one looks very good. But I think the old warrior has looked a little bit angrier.
More words, when this new guy of you will be finished.

Hey Leki - curious to know the specific areas you were unhappy with in the 'old' Footman? Comparing these two "monsters" is sorta '

oranges' to my eyes. I did really like both the old characters.
The 'new' warrior - looks a lot more like a character from the original - but it's a little hard to see the face to extrapolate him as human 'for sure'. Seems a little 'just humanoid' at this point (though that could be just because of the angle of the 1 screenshot)
Looking forward to playing with the content when you release!

Hmm, I found that mesh is corrupted for some reason - in some situations you can see through and double sided material makes some parts black... but worst is that during animation there is some head deformations - not in GMT but ingame, although there s nothing (bone or animations keys) responsible for that...
So I must to find why and repair it - but I am afraid that it means to create new mesh and skin - a lot of work - but good new is that finished animations will fits on it... I hope :-/

I know you have been waiting for a long time, but believe me it's not so easy to do, what I'm trying to do...
Ok... What's new. I have new human warrior now (it's 5th one I guess)... Mesh is tested and I really hope that it's ok now. I made him a little bit stronger and bigger then last time.
I also made some helmets and one crown and I gonna to arm him with different weapons including spear, two handed sword and axe... so you can use about "5 different" guys when it's done.
I also improved animation skeleton... again...
Yes I know - I have to do new animations now, but the benefit is, that I prepared it for next human warriors including full plate knight etc... The point is that I managed to parse some skyrim male body mesh wearing different type of armor. In other way with this new animation skeleton, I hope, I have to only skin new one and rest will fits from this one. Well, more info in next days, for now, here is new one and helmets for him + some leather helmet will come too.

he seems quite high, hope he will fit in the dungeon

Hope they will fit into open areas and in a dungeons as well. I also made them to fit in group - dont worry about "hand shaking" its for test of maximum width - when they wears weapons, hands are in different positions and there is no mesh collisions.
