solved the breaking wall secret:
first time I've thrown an item but it haven't reached the plate, but I interpreted this as there is no plate there
my understanding is the above secret is optional, so I'm still holding the key w/o a door, and no I haven't found any stairs down. The level entrance is still behind the closed gates...

ok played with plates/buttons a bit more and another wall opened to the new section, think I'm fine now

my glory was short
the beginning of the next level, with 12 pressure plates and no clues what to do, has got me stuck. Seems this is one of the "wtf?" puzzles Dr.Disaster was talking about

It took me quite a while to find the solution.
After that i gave quite a few hints on how to solve it throughout this threat so in case you feel completly lost just look them up.

ok I feel like I won't solve it.
we have a clock dial, have to put items on a few plates for the gate at previous level to open. I assume "12" is the plate at the entrance, don't see any reason to make it another one.
we have 3 numbers: 15, 11 and 35000. Probably I can live with 15 and 11, but 35k seems too much for the clock. Even if it's just 35. My best guess is I have to press 3 plates: 3, 5 and 11 o'clock. Does not work. Or maybe 11:50, same thing (as 15 and 35 makes no sense on a dial we add them getting 50). Or 11:20.
There is a stone and a knife on the floor as well, two big grates on the floor and one small on the wall. A dust and a straw on the floor. No idea how can this be helpful...

yep I saw that hint, I place them on 8 and 10 o'clock... still no idea how can it help with 15, 11 and 35

Level 9, the section called "The Wall" - when you clear it and teleported back to the entrance the button won't open the gates again. So if you forgot something there it's not possible to take it back... not sure if it's a bug or a feature
I also investigated just a part of level 8 maze, used a teleporter and now the rest of the maze is unaccessible. It's good if there will be a way to return there
