does anyone know where the gold key is supposed to be found for the door in MT sewers (with a secret behind) ?

could only get 6/7 secrets in planetarium. I traveled through the whole map with the console, using the apparatus at various points, but no luck - is there really a 7th secret? (secrets found labelled with ' ! ')

I consoled my way again and was able to find the secret i was missing in the academy - there i met a dwarf and the dialogues basically says that 'we got teleported here by using an object on Feanor's forge' (the elfe in Housing) - but it doesn't say which one?

I've just finished Madonite, and about to start chap3. I found all the other secrets but the 2 mentionned above (+ the one in the sewers because of the gold key)


last, any hints what to do with these items?

gem of the moon (found in mount khan)
fire flower (found in tibianic mine)
starmetal ore (found in Xarasa Grotto')
lightning core (calculation plain) - only managed to get the techno sword here btw

hopefully will be able to finish this damn long mod for good one of these days (after many failed versions/attempts :| )

well well.. interesting

now a question pls. I mean how on earth one is supposed to win when the (not so smart) boss got himself teleported out of the fighting area ? Since every exits are meant to be locked till the fight is over ?

I'm the one within the 'fighting are' - Not him.

I'm the one following the rules. Not him..


So have to reload, but i'm guessing this is not something expected (ie bug) ?

nice, he did again. Somehow he managed to teloport himself back this time - but only because he saw me on the other side of the gate.. He saw me and sswwsshh ..teleported. Still this is not normal. What if he decided to never come back near the gate ? i could stay there forever.


btw i think he is a bit overpowered, but this is just an opinion. Not an enjoyable fight for me, mainly due to the teleportation stuff.

Hello. To the point:

"The sewers gold lock": Use any gold key that you may have found before or that you will find later.

"Secret of Planetarium": The secret you are missing is the pirate flag in the library, if you use the 204R version you can not access until you find the level “Pirate Bastion”, if you use the 206R version you just have to press a place of the pirate flag to open the wall (I think an eye). This was changed because it was too unclear the other way.

"Terror of the Dragons": It's an easter egg, it's useless, but you can sell it to the guy who buys the books in rocky coast in version v206R (but not in v204R).

"Gem of the Moon": There are 4 of them, if you get all 4 and put them in the forge of the elf Faenor of Malan Tael you can access the forge of time (a secret in the academy).

"Fire Flower": Used to make potions that give you several attributes at the same time (I think I remember) in a village in the Jungle level, it's not very useful or important.

"Starmetal Ore": Used to forge and upgrade weapons in the forge of time.

"Lighting Core": Serves to access a secret near the end of the game, in turn that secret makes you get another object that you can use elsewhere to get an epic item. I think you will know where to use it when the time comes (i recommend you to insist a lot).

Regarding the ogre bug I never saw it, even though I've played this mod at least 6 times with different character configurations :D I've always carried out that combat in the northern part of the map (good job finding out). There was an identical bug in a boss in the final levels of the game, it was fixed in the 206R version.

gold key for the sewers - the problem is that all my gold keys have already been used before - either to open chests, or for somer doors. So i mean i've nothing left :/ Actually i watched your video to check if a gold key was there (in the sewers) but then i noticed you had already one before going down (right at the start of the video, when you check your stuff). The others gold keys (found later) are meant to be used for the next levels - if i use one of them for the sewers, same problem will happen later (most probably).

Maybe the infamous missing gold key is in the planetarium :D So you're saying there -is- a 7th secret ?? where can it be ??

Yo Emilio, you didn't read carefully, the planetaruoim map is already there, in the spoilers balise. I marked the 6 secrets i found with ! (the one avalaible by the game) - pls check again

ah? ok then, tks. Do you know by any chance if the door with the 'restricted area' panel can be opened ? It seems there's something behind (though cannot be affirmative)

i'm now in the ravenkul pass, and as always i reload a lot (@ ambush and portals)

i prefer to kill everyone and then destroy the portals - but for some reason i suspect this is not a good tactic :D anyway that was just hell here, as always



pls check again the 1st post about the planetarium map - i found 3 secrets in the library (se part) , and the others 3 ones in the northern part.

I mean i don't get it since i used the apparatus everywhere, even in the parts you're not allowed (through the console)

Hello. After writing the message I realized later that you had put the map and I corrected it (I don't understand how you have answered the message without correcting), but I put you what I changed in that text:

Regarding the ravanakull pass fight: It is totally optional and I recommend you to postpone it for when you have passed the game, it is one of the most difficult fights AT THAT TIME. Overcoming this combat brings nothing, only a bonus of experience. And I recommend you to destroy the portals as soon as possible with dark magic, death bombs and bow of the elements magic, as soon as you destroy two of them everything will be much easier xD Invisibility and force field also helps.

About the “restricted area” door, which door and on which level are you referring to? Calculation Plains maybe?

no, too late, i spent 2 hours here (battle is over), and i took care of the monsters first, and then only after the portals .

i know it's not supposed to be that way but i did try the portals at first, and i did use invisibility and forcefields too. The problem (i found while testing various tatics) is that i'm unable to destroy the portals fast enough. After that, I am surrounded from all sides, and the enemy queue to fight at the end.

Put simply I found that there are too many monsters right at the start. There's also the fact that i don't want to waste all my bombs & potions for one battle only.

I could find a nice place where to fight (sides are protected by trees). I didn't use too much stuff here, but then again, i reloaded a lot.

I don't recommend this tatic to anyone, but i found that's the one that works best for me.

Forget that for the moment, the necessary item is at a very advanced level and I'm sure when you discover it you will know what to use there, although it has also “its history” xD
