To Bongobeat:
Yes, there are 12 possibilities to place the gems and you have all the gems you need. The green gems can be in 6 different places and then swap red/blue which gives 12. I opened all the doors this way so this has to work for you too
I can't be more specific as I forgot the correct combinations myself but it is really not that hard as there are not many possibilities.
Don't forget to take all the gems with you

how can they be in 6 different places?
there is only 4 alcoves
You sure you dont talk about the other room with the fireballs and the pits?

Oh it's just a misunderstanding. There are 4 alcoves. And the green gems can be:

All changes and errors that have been reported have been fixed and messages responded to
I will be doing a couple of run throughs myself before releasing another beta version, so new version out in a week or 2

About the missing textures on the statue:
I think the issue comes from me, this afternoon I have test various thing in my mod and I ve noticed that I have the missing textures on statues too! Funny!

The statue model in the "asset_pack_v2" has it too. I´ve textured the empty part by myself.

I am going to be confused with these gems!
I have only 1 blue gem, 2 green gems and one red
And had finally spawned a second blue gem to resolve the puzzle. <-- is there a way to bring a blue gem from the other room?
Now I have 1 green gem which seems to be of no use

After opened all other doors I found this empty altar. I was just surprised, as the other altars have something on them
or maybe that is normal?
it's the altar in front of the stairs to level 7
by the way, you can drop item trough doors (accidentally), if their is altar behind (and maybe alcove too <-- have to try that on the editor)
I have noticed that when doing my mod. It can be annoying in some case.
when using the "viking" sword I got error message in the console, seems the sound dm_vsword is missing
