Cool news!

From your pics I can't really see from what material the chests with 5 kinds are made. Are they from stone? From wood? And the wood seems to be very glossy - I'm astonished about that. Why not a chest completely stony? Maybe with a flat top?

The 5 chests are a stone and wood. But the wood is a painted wood not glossy, I think Ill remove that white part lol. But if you want a stone chest you got it buddy

Ah - now I see it. Sorry! If you want to give the wood a weathered look you may can replace the white by spots where the wood is visible again.

I made some changes to them. I think they came out better

Added a stone box/chest per request. The box is animated and with sound effects. This one is for you THOM .

Instead of using the drainage tentacles, it would be easier to use the existing mimic rig and animations directly, and "just" add legs and tentacles to the mesh.

Personally I don't think it's worth doing that though, we already have the mimic monster! If you're gonna add a trap to it make it an original one, like a cloud of poison gas spews out of the chest or something.

Make it an alternative pit, or concealed ladder.

If it's a trap box, an enclosed undead that reaches out could be cool.
