I'm also stupid I still dont get where the switch for the vault entrance is supposed to be in the 7th level.

You have to put items on the floor, so it looks like a checker. 2 on the first row (right and left) 1 on the 2 row, etc.

Can you post pickture with map or something? cant find it either.

Tryed to start clearing lvl 9 instead, but those blue dinosaurs without enough space to dodge their hits and immune to freeze gives me no chances on Hard difficulty... maybe if i clear lvl 8 first i will find something usefull againts them ;/

On level 7 open your map. From the center of the level drawn on the map look west. You will see a 2x2 room with a hallway kind of making a square around it. There's also a tentacle beast that comes out of the grate there. If you exit the 2x2 room and look to the outer north wall, you will see a rune shape button to press. This will open a wall on the east outerwall by the 2x2 room. You have a limited time but you should hear it open. I know its complicated but I hope this helps

I'm also stumped on level 8. The spider stops moving when you stand at the iron bars, dunno if that means anything.

-however-
For the checkered room, You will have to figure out a way to checker the pressure plates, and the door will open.

Pressure the plates like a chessboard, so that the plate in front of the door is pressed of course.
