have 2 playtroughs with missles, they are not good compared to other stuff, not even close. the dmg is so low and the attack speed is to slow. throwing would be 2 times bether. it wouldnt have the armor piercing, but the raw DPS is way higher. you go 5 throw, 5 crit, maybe 3 evasion for 10% attack speed and other in accuracy. rlly disapointed with missles, there are no good missle wpn's compared to othersArcticMetal wrote:On my second runthrough on hard I created a missle based rogue. Pumped up her dex, missle to level 5, crit to level 5, and working on accuracy now. She has 20 pts of armor piercing, crits 1/3rd of the time, never misses, and has a ranged attack. I'd say missle is a pretty good choice
Well, even if it isn't optimal I find it enjoyable, and I don't feel like I'm at a disadvantage for speccing into it.Sailorhudin wrote:have 2 playtroughs with missles, they are not good compared to other stuff, not even close. the dmg is so low and the attack speed is to slow. throwing would be 2 times bether. it wouldnt have the armor piercing, but the raw DPS is way higher. you go 5 throw, 5 crit, maybe 3 evasion for 10% attack speed and other in accuracy. rlly disapointed with missles, there are no good missle wpn's compared to othersArcticMetal wrote:On my second runthrough on hard I created a missle based rogue. For efficiency and accuracy, being agile is nice, but being well-trained (aka skill ranks) is much, much better.steelsoldier wrote:Honestly I also agree with that, I know that strength would influence how hard you throw objects, but there are weapons that the way you throw them you need to be agile in order to throw them efficiently and with as a much deadly accuracy as possible.
That's correct. Check the rogue class description on that one.eLPuSHeR wrote:By the way. I thought rogues dual wield penalty was -25% instead of the regular -40%.
I repeat: check the class description. You are looking at the skill description.eLPuSHeR wrote:The image link I posted states otherwise.
