How do people like the game so far?

Many sequels can't meet the expectations put forth by the original.
Some are so much better, that the original looks pale in comparison.
This is easily the latter.

Its still not perfect though.
I do wish there were a few more spells. And it is certainly easier to get lost and not know what puzzles you need to solve later, and which you should solve now. The huge, non-linear world means you can easily misplace clues, or forget what area they go to.

But I'd definitely recommend it if you liked the first.

I simply love it. I haven't completed it, I find it a bit hard, but oooooh so good.
I'm an old-school DM fan (You might recognize me as the author of "Damnation of the Gods") -
and Grimrock 2 is soooo beautiful, and fun!
