In "The Cache" you have to choose from one of the gates which to open or are you able to get enough gold keys later in game to come back for all rewards? I mean, do you lose other rewards if you would use later gold keys to open all gates in the cache, or are there enough gold keys in the game (if you find all of them) to literally open all gold locks?

I don't think there are enough gold keys to open all the locks in the game so choose wisely.
