Aaaw damn, I was too impatient to wait for it to unlock on Steam!
Saves carry if you ever do decide to run it on Steam. I believe achievements carry also.

Usually if you did it before you transfer to steam you have to do it again for it to count. (That was the case with Skyrim and such anyhow)
