Wow, you are a scary combination of fast and talented! As always, great improvements. Transparent windows are a must for outdoor houses, was hoping someone would make that :D

Bompf. (That's a sound effect of being impressed)

Those two new models look really good. Good imagination.

Asteroth wrote:Secret doors: well it makes the fact there is a secret door kinda obvious ('cept with the ivy) but fantastic work. When just finding how to open is most of the challange these are great.
All in all wonderfully fantastic work.
If the room behind is dark the it will reduce the obviousness. Also, a little obvious here and there can then be its own clue where needed, so we don't have to provide "as much" other clues

I agree sometimes obvious can be a good thing... besides it only tells you there is a "secret door" there... not how to open it (if indeed it can be opened).

You could use this in many clever ways. You can have it barely lit, so it will be noticeable only if the party is not using any torches or other light sources. This could even be a plot element - "the secret room will only reveal itself during the darkest hour."

Anyway, excellent stuff.

Rook wrote:Using doors with transparent windows or barred windows has given me the idea to use them as walls and add a "starry sky" object on other side. It would give the illusion of looking outside at night. :)
I have been working in this also, and have made some fantastic vistas using the old skybox method used in older FPS games like Half-life and quake.
So when you look out off the transparent windows you see pre-rendered mountains and sky that are just texture on a oval-shaped plane that's behind the window.
with work you can truly get the illusion that you are a inside a large mountain.

I look forward to seeing this. :)

This is marvelous thanks so much. Going in my dungeon asap, and I agree that secret doors with hints (find how to open me) are great design.
