What?! Now that's another issue. After retrieving the final key, you step out of the room and the dungeon should shake. This indicates that something happened in the dungeon: It's filled back with another set of encounters (including a Goromorg at the entrance). You're telling me that this never happened?!
Has anyone else encountered this/these issue(s)?

Right. After retrieving the key, there was no earthquake, and I didn't encounter anything new on the way back.

Oh God, I just tried it in the editor and you are totally right! People must think the ending sucks and give up on locating that key which is actually nowhere to be found. So sorry to all of you
I'll update the dungeon to version 1.2 this weekend. Thank you very much Charlo for reporting this issue!

Numberouane, let me see if I remember:
The wall text is
WENS
NEWS
W, E, N, and S stand for west, east, north, and south. WENS is referring to the columns, and NEWS is referring to the alcoves in each column. If you need more of a hint just holler!

Version 1.2 uploaded. I have fixed the ending (that was so dumb) and improved the puzzle hint "10" which was too vague.
That was the first time I updated a file on Grimrock Nexus. That site is really not intuitive. I'm still not sure if I did it right.

Thanks for the tips
The meditation room bug is still there.
On nexus, I took 1.2 but no change.... bug still there including the final one...
I skipped the buggy room and finish it but :
Got the key from prison key holder but opening the door on level 1 I miss one ornate key....
Reading the thread, no earthquake , no monster , nothing happen after opening the door...
I dl 1.2 from nexus

I haven't tried the meditation bug but did change something hoping to fix it.
As for the rest, I have played the whole dungeon and the two issues mentioned in the update note are indeed fixed. If you go to the puzzle hint "10", does it still say "10"? If so, you're still playing with 1.0
Note that you cannot update a .dat file (the dungeon) of a different version than the loaded game. If your saved game is from 1.0 and you try to load dungeon 1.2, I believe the layout of the dungeon is still 1.0

ok
U right I did not restart from scratch after overwriting the .dat file.
So I assume that all the bugs are still there and that I cant finish the mod missing the last key.
Thanks for the mod
