I really like the snowy , frosty feel of the dungeons. I live in the Great White North (Canada) and with November quickly approaching and the chance of snow the dungeons are reminding me of cold days ahead.

The reason for my post is to suggest adding snowdrifts to the ground, icicles, pools of frozen water. The frosty walls look great but these added touches would complete the mood. Hey, how about having cold fog or see the party's breath as fog!

I remember books and TV shows discussing the Franklin expedition and how scientists had unearthed the remains discussing how well preserved the remains were. Also I remember someone said that forensic studies pointed to the possibility of lead poisoning of the crew as a result of acidic foods leaching lead into the food from the solder used in the seams.

I tried to make a snowdrift but it looked rubbish, no matter what I did, so I ended up scrapping it. I think I'll leave it, and maybe someone better at that kind of thing would like to have a try. I did manage to make some icicles though. ;)

I used the skeleton from the catacomb model and dropped it to the floor. Then I just added a little frost to the textures.

Yes but how did you do it. Could you provide a little more insight on your process?

EDIT: I did it by deleting parts of the catacomb model in blender.

I imported the catacomb model into Hexagon (from DAZ 3D). The catacomb model is made up of several separate pieces, so I was able to select the skeleton and position it away from everything else. Then all I had to do was select the other pieces and delete them, leaving the skeleton behind.
