Actually in the manual there is a little story about Mount Grimrock and it states that "The acrid stench and puffs of fog that rose from it
stung my eyes." meaning that it probably does smell like crap down there and at that old crap.

Maybe monsters in Grimrock are the cleanest of all monsters in dungeons.They even clean or maybe eat prisoner's remains.

I believe I read that there are 3 different tile sets.
