Sure!

edit:

I think I thought the cause of my crash! I use the Direct 3D Overrider (it starts with my windows) for some games whose inbuilt vsync slows the game to much or for older games. I had not any problems except a few months ago when I tried to change the graphic options in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - the game crashed. So i thought I give it a try and deactivate the D3D Overrider - voila no crash.

ShadowTigerZC wrote:I too have received the infamous fatal crash error on startup, with the proposed work-around not functioning, sadly. I have attempted a 16x9 and a 4:3 resolution. Neither function. The first two lines of the grimrock.cfg file are currently as such:
resolution = "600 X 480"
displayMode = 2
The game can't parse the resolution because of the capital X. Please change the line to e.g.:
resolution = "640 x 480"

I also have a similar problem.
Grimrock was working fine with me, but it lagged cause my pc kinda sucks, so i adjusted the graphics from High to Low.
The game crashed, when i try to open it up again it crashes again and again. I don't get any crash logs.

I use Steam to play Grimrock, and i tried looking in the grimrock.dat , but Notepad simply crashes and Notepad++ says it's to large.
Any possible help about that?
