Pretty cool? o_O

If Hustin's having fun then he/she should try Progress Quest... http://www.progressquest.com/play/main.html

I just descended and finished the game, but only after treadmilling everyone to level 22. Even then, that last battle was tough!

Very sneaky level design, devs, very sneaky ;)

I can't imagine the time you must have spent. I feeling like I'm wasting my life just by going up to level 14 by treadmilling on dungeon level 6.

Hi there.

Incredible. Level 22? Is like how many experience points? On my first playthrough the party average was slightly above level 15 with the mage having far beyond 300k XP and being in lvl 16, and I did some treadmiling in dungeon lvl 6 as well ... I seriously considered doing this a lot more, but then considered it as being not really necessary ...
And I was nearly wronged in the lower dungeon floors, like lvl 10-13 were really challenging (on hard that is) ...

And in general: Did someone check on the numbers how many XP you need to earn in order to gain the next level? Looks like kind of an progressive system or something; but it does not work with as clearly cut thresholds like what you get with standard level-based RPGS ((A)D&D, the Black Eye, etc.)

All the best!
Liam

Someone did make a list somewhere on the forums, I can't recall where exactly though.

Level 21 was at about 1,244,100 XP, give or take a few hundred
Level 22 was at about 1,705,150 XP, give or take 50
Level 23 is at 2,336,908

All my characters are at 22, but Sancsaron is best off at 1,955,425 XP in my last save before finishing the game. Leveling him up to 23 wouldn't have gotten me much, at least not enough to justify it. I'd already spent almost 147 hours as-is

I suppose I could post character stats for fun, but I don't see any screenshot key-binding in the game.

Steam has it built in if you use that version. You could also use Fraps.

Kinda ruins the difficulty (and the enjoyment imho) throughout the game if you powerlevel up like that though Oo

Hi.

Yeah, power-leveling or farming ... Conisdering the time - nearly 150hrs - for "just" 22 levels ... Each character has 6 skills (or was it only 5?); and each skill may be ranked up to 50 ... So how many levels would this be? Like up to 74 to 75?
So I think power-leveling would be kind of hardcore as a game-style, but really is no real risk for this game.

Screenshot: Use the "print"-key on your keyboard and insert the screenshot in a graphics program like Gimp or :? office-applications. This is how I did it.

All the best!
Liam.
