Hi,
Thanks to your reactions. As I say to RMariano, I have no problem with memory in more than 15 hours of play. I use an old computer (2007) with a graphical card not so good and 1,5 Gb of Ram usable by the game, BUT on Windows 7. Is it possible that playing it on Windows 10 cause memory issues ?
I don't know, I may appreciate if some guy know something about it.
Drakkan point out a BIG mistake: lizards don't bite!! I suppose the asset I imported is broken, I don't see why for the moment

EDIT: error find, it's necessary to include animations events in the lua file, they were there when I wrote this map... but I have deleted them at a moment and never made a new test on them since...

Other thing: it's an open world, so if you want to go everywhere at the beginning of the game, you can do it, but some areas will be deadly for your party in a few minutes... so please, take the time to understand what is going on ON THE FIRST MAP, where you can find all the informations needed.

Anyway, the final release will have to wait...

Duncan

It's not crashing for you because you're playing with medium texture resolution, which drops 75% of the texture data.
It's crashing for other people because you ignored the fact that you are making a mod for a 32-bit Windows application that uses DirectX 9.

Hi Minmay,
I had read carefully your posts on these problems. I played my mod with ALL the parameters on hight value, including texture and filtering, as you can see in the config file:
resolution = "1680 x 1050"
displayMode = 1
verticalSync = 2
renderingQuality = 2
textureResolution = 3
textureFilter = 3
shadowQuality = 3
ssaoQuality = 3
maxDrawDistance = 1000

So it isn't the reason of this issue...

Oops I thought Zo Kath Ra's post was yours, lol.

It's still probably the issue, though, and you were just lucky. There's not really anything else likely to result in that error. It would help if RMariano had given any sort of information about what he was doing when it crashed...

Hi,
I was suspicious about Windows 10 and I was right: I found tons of complaints on memory crash issues like this:

"Another Windows 10 update issue again! Many users reported that RAM and CPU usage went up after installing Windows 10. The detailed situations of this Windows 10 high CPU/RAM memory usage issue are like that “I’m having an issue, very high memory usage by System”, “playing games on my computer uses almost all 4 GB usage on Windows 10”, “I installed Win 10 but got high RAM usage. It tends go up to 90% without anything substantial open”, “I updated my PC to Windows 10 but during few hours of usage memory builds up again to 70% and if not restarted it further goes to 100% and later on even freezes and crashes”……"

I agree that my mod uses probably a lot of Ram, but as I have at max 1,4 to 1,5 Gb usable for the game, and NO crash memory in game, neither save crash, I think that issue is probably caused by Windows 10 .
Anyway, I will work on it to reduce memory usage if I can.

Duncan1246, you are very likely right. There seem to be several issues regarding memory usage including bad/incompatible drivers.
One large issue got build right into the Windows Update function as a feature: any Win10 installation is by default set to distribute newly released updates worldwide! Due to this a PC with Win10 behaves like an active torrent client in a giant torrent network and is (ab)using user bandwidth and system memory this way. The lucky part is it can be stopped by a single mouse click; you just need to know where to do it.

err .. you did realize that this is Duncan1246's LoG 1 mod? Trying to run a LoG 1 mod with LoG 2 won't work.
