Grimrock

It would be cool if we could crack this one together as a community, but sadly I myself lack al the necessary skills for this.
If someone could point me in the right direction ?

Thoughts:
- is it possible for us to use the moving blocks as animation (copy paste a gel/cube like texture over them?) or does this not work this way?
- how to make the block attack, or just move over the party like the rat swarm does and then do damage when the party is inside the cube
- the idea of picking up items from the ground and making a script for it is cool

Do you have access to the Asset Definition files for LoG2? The best thing to do is trial/error using the asset def's.

A gelatinous cube could be based on the rat swarm, and be a roaming damage tile that envelopes the party.

@Azel: you said you had a cube "running" , is there anyway I can take a look at your texture and scripts of that gelatinious cube?

Off hand, I would think that it could work to start with the green slime as a base monster, and script it to pick up any items it passes over; into its inventory. Once it behaves as planned, then replace the model, and animations with new ones for the gel cube.

what is "ORRR3"? I know what EoB is, which should be obvious from my avatar, but I have no idea what ORRR is...

It stands for 'One Room Round Robin'. A set of community LoG1 mods, with ORRR3 being a planned LoG2 mod.
Anyone that wanted to could ask for any of the remaining rooms set aside in the mod, and they could make it their own. Players would adventure through the maps and visit the various rooms. If you haven't played these they are well worth it [IMO].

I see, I remember the very first one room round robin when i first started playing LoG 1, but it wasn'tt finished yet and I had already moved on to another game by the time they finished it...
as for a geleatinous cube...is it possible someone could do something like change the cube enemy from LOG 1 and make it so it doesn't kill you in 1 hit and make it like..green or something?

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to make a gellatinous cube yet ?

Would realy like one for my dungeon, but I am not profficient enough to make one

I have, but it's on the back-burner until after ORRR3.
