Classic mode save?

I did not choose classic mode for this playthrough, saving it for my next one when the map is a biiit more clear in my head. So I'm not sure if this option was part of Classic Mode.

Saving at crystals and disabling manual save anywhere. Is that possible? I think that should be an option! This game really evokes the Pathways into Darkness feeling in me.

I only use the autosaves from the crystals. I simply don't use manual saving.

I'm glad the devs put in these save/health recharge crystals. I love that sort of game mechanic.
