Previous party got almost to the end, got shellacked badly enough that I decided to respec. I'm happy with this party, but I made a diverse team of specialists (as per advice I've found here and elsewhere, as well as my usual philosophy) and they're all maxed out in their specializations, but I'm not sure I can take out that boss yet. I have skill points stored up. I know, good problem to have, but where do I go from here? 3 humans and a mino because I like humans' skill point and XP bonuses a /lot/.
SpoilerShow
Front: Mino barbarian, headhunter, heavy weapons, heavy armor, in crystal armor, both because his resistance to poison is weak, and because the meteor armor is on the battle mage. Not sitting on any skill pts. for this one (b/c he's usually the pack mule. Right now he has spirit mirror on because he's 1-2 lvls behind rest of party. Oh, and he has 2 points of accuracy, which I stand by because with martial training, it's pretty sweet).
Human battle mage is my pet. Heavy armor, concentration 3, Earth mastery, water mastery + meteor plate = immune to 3 elements. Sitting on 3 skill pts.
Rear:
Straight up pyromancer, human wizard with concentration 3, air and fire mastery. Pretty simple. Oh, and a point of water magic for dispels. Wearing Archmage set. Sitting on 4 skill points. Most likely to die or be wounded.
The (human) alchemist is probably weakest in terms of damage, so I'll probably use the BFG for boss fight(s), but he is otherwise mighty handy. He has decent strength & is currently wearing neck chain for aforementioned reasons of party balance.
Firearms 5, Alchemy 5, and
I decided to invest skill points in missile weapons rather than going for a dual-wield light weapons because light weapons requires investing points in accuracy too for a back-rank character. Frankly, I'm wondering if I should have gone another direction with him, since he needs the Str. for the BFG anyway. Light armor, wearing mirror plate.
Sitting on 2 skill points (squandered 2 on accuracy because he couldn't hit anything, and he still can't)
