Sewer spikes, follow the leader.

Perhaps I'm just being dense, but I can't figure this puzzle out. Two sets of spikes, circling in opposite directions - I've tried several combinations of buttons to no avail and don't see the relevance of the clue, "follow the leader".

A hint please?

If it's the part i am thinking of:

It's only one set of spikes. You have to follow them and press the buttons on the walls in the order the spikes run through the corridors.

You solve it by pressing the five bronzed buttons in the same order as the spikes pass by them, hence following the leader.

That helps thanks! This puzzle is somehow not how my brain works (part of why I play is to get better at visual-spatial stuff), but that's got it. Cheers for bearing with me.
