Has anyone played it on Wine?

How was the performance/glitches?

I would like to buy it to run on Linux/wine, but I would like to see if anyone has tried before.

(or even on vmware/virtualbox would be interesting to hear about).

The game and editor both work in a default 32-bit Wine installation. In 64-bit Wine it crashes often, so just use 32-bit. Performance is basically the same as in Windows, assuming you have good video drivers. Spotlights don't render correctly but everything else does, and spot lights are barely used except for ceiling shafts anyway.
